Bolivar Peninsula—Galveston County
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) Adopt-A-Beach cleanup was a big success.
The
event was held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon
at the Chamber of Commerce, 1760 Highway 87 at Crystal Beach, about 11
miles from ferry landing.
We had a great turn-out and a lot of fun. | |
The winds from Humberto also helped blow all the seaweed off the beach and Bolivar's Beaches have never looked better than right now. | The 2007 winner of the Adopt-a-Beach children's art contest
